Welcome to Colorado!!!

It was 75°F and sunny on Thursday.  Guess we won’t have soccer today!  (PS, the picture isn’t clear because the blowing snow freaked out the camera.)

Family Pictures

We recently had our family pictures taken by a friend of mine so I thought I’d post a few.  Thanks Linnea! (However I miss you Julie :))

 

New Camera

O.K., since Justin got me this new camera I must say we are a little picture crazed!!!!!  I have never taken so many pictures of so many different things in my life!!  Downloading all the shots that used to take seconds now takes almost an hour!!!  So I choose a few but if you get bored you don’t have to look at them all :)

AIR FORCE ACADEMY GAME

We attended an AFA game a couple weekends ago and Paige was lucky enough to perform a cheer and dance at the half time show.  It was a lot of fun, something we will defiantly make a routine of doing.

How many college games can say that at every home game they fly planes overhead and parachuters jump out and land center field?!  Very cool.

SKATING PARTY

Paige had a skating birthday party this weekend so we all went to join in the fun…..

Cody tried skating for about 10 seconds before he fell and decided that was enough.  We just hung out and watched for the rest of the time.

Zoo Fun

This weekend we went to visit the Colorado Springs Zoo and I must say it is one of the best zoos I have ever been to.  We were thoroughly impressed and loved seeing all the animals, especially the giraffes.  It was amazing with probably more than 30 giraffes for you to feed by hand.  Pretty awesome stuff!!!!

Soccer Time!!

So Cody’s first ever season of soccer is in full swing now.  Except for the fist fight in the first game and the complaining that he never gets to kick the ball, all is well :)  It is fun to watch him though and good that he finally has something to do after always watching the girls with their activities…….

His favorite position is goalie.  He likes to not have to compete too much for the ball.

Paige is 8!!!!!!

My beautiful little blond is 8 years old!!  I would say I can’t believe it but I really can.  She is such a good girl and so grown up already.  Why can’t we just freeze our kids in time so they won’t grow up on us?

Labor Day Weekend

So for our labor day weekend we decided to see some of the sites of our new home town.  We went to a beautiful spot called the Garden of the Gods about 15 miles away and it was beautiful hiking and scenery.  Except for the wind I am learning to love this new area we call home.
