The North Pole

Yesterday we started to holiday season with a visit to The North Pole (here in Colorado Springs) to visit Santa and show him how good we’ve been.  Of course he already knew that

Thanks for the visit Santa!!  We had a blast!

Recital time

During this time of year is the time for recitals.  I love watching my cute kids perform their hearts out.  Great job girls!  I am so proud of your developing talents.

Paint Mines

This weekend we took the kids to a local hike called the Paint Mines.  It was a fun walk with interesting rocks to climb on.  Always fun to see more of the beautiful Colorado.

Halloween 2012

What a great Halloween holiday this year!  It’s always fun to have these special occasions to spend time together as a family….

In the mist of it all my birthday always lands in there somewhere.  Kudos to my husband for trying this year.  Usually a cake is forgotten, but he did order one for me this year!   Unfortunately the name was not mine………

Ragnar Relay 2012

Last month I participated in the Ragnar Relay here in Colorado.  The 200 mile relay was exhausting, fun, hard, exciting, and beautiful!  What a great experience!
