We found a nest settled under our porch and today heard some strange chirping noises.  Low and behold we looked in and saw these………………

Memorial Day hiking

On Memorial day we decided to take it low key and go hiking at more local trails.  The opportunities to hike around here are endless!!  It has been a real joy to be able to experience the outdoors here in Colorado!

Grandmas skirt

Wonderful Grandma Williams made this adorable skirt for Paige and some of her cousins.  I had to post a picture so Grandma could see how adorable she looks!

Alexa is finally 12!

I must say it seems as though Alexa’s birthday has been going on FOREVER!!!  We had an early party and out to eat for a birthday dinner early, and now finally the real day has come and she is officially 12!!  Happy birthday sweetheart!! 

T-ball

The season is almost over and I haven’t posted any pictures of my cute little t-ball player in action, so stay tuned for many photos to follow.  He is such a cute boy I just can’t help myself.

SURPRISE!!!

So this year we did a surprise early birthday party for Alexa’s 12th birthday.  It was a lot of fun and a huge success!!  She had a blast and hopefully will be talking about it for years to come.

Paige’s Dance Recital

I love going to watch my little princess do her dances.  She loves to perform and lights up the stage.  Way to go Paige!!  You ROCK!!

Seriously!?!

OK, the date is May 11 and we are settling in for another softball game, and what happens?!?  Tons of huge, white, fluffy snowflakes!  REALLY?!?

NJHS

I am SO proud of my wonderful 12 year old!!  She competed with many kids in her school and was elected one of the few new members of the National Junior Honors Society.  This is a great accomplishment and shows how hard my sweet girl works not only in school but in all other aspects of her life.  Way to go Alexa!!!  We love you!!!

Violin Recital

Tis the season for all the many recitals and games and parties and award ceremonies and on and on and on.  It keeps us on our toes, but is a lot of fun.  Here are a couple of pictures of the latest violin/piano recital.  I didn’t take many shots because the girls did so amazing I was totally captivated by them and forgot I had a camera!
