Alexa turns 10!!!!!!

O.K., when your daughter had a birthday putting her into the double digits you start to feel a little old. Alexa turned 10 this week and I'm having a hard time believeing it. She's such a good girl and fun to have around. Here are some shots of our fun day........

End of Year Madness

So our school year has come to a close and it had been utter MADNESS!! We've had parties and ceremonies and performances and any other type of celebration you can think of! I must admit that some of them my camera was missing in action, others the shots were not qualified to be on this site, but some made the cut (mostly of Paige, sorry Alexa) The girls are now home for a couple of months and Cody and I so far are enjoying every minute of their entertainment!

Atlanta Zoo

This past weekend we decided to get away and drive up to the Atlanta Zoo with the kids. The kids had a great time and the weather was perfect. It is fun to be a short distance away for a day of fun in Atlanta.

Rainy Fun!

O.K., so they are not the best pictures, but boy did the kids have fun. They are still loving their trampoline and jump on it every minute of the day that they can. Rain does not even stop them. This particular day it was POURING outside and they stayed out jumping in it for a long time. They came in looking like they had jumped in a pool fully clothed. Fun times to be remembered! :)

What we're into.....

I thought I'd share a couple of things with our friends and family far away that my kids are into lately. I bought Cody his first pair of flip-flops this year. And yes-HE LOVES THEM! They were delivered four days ago and he has worn them for four days straight. (I do get him to take them off for bed, but that takes a LOT of convincing)

The big thing down here are these "crazy bracelets" that the girls have really gotten into. Really they are just overpriced rubber bands, but they love them. The kids at school have fun trading with each other. Every day when the girls get home they can't wait to show me the new ones they got and tell me the ones they traded away. It has been fun for them....

We got it!!

We did it!! We got a long awaited trampoline. For years I have been begging Justin for one and he has always not wanted one, but after much persuasion and research for the perfect one for us, HE GAVE IN! It was delivered just in time for our spring break and the kids are having so much fun! Totally worth it! Now just pray everyone stays safe. :)

Since we were not going anywhere for spring break we wanted as much outdoor entertainment for the kids that we could get, so Justin hung a swing from our beautiful big tree. Another big hit!! The kids were outside most of every day! My dream come true!

At the end of our break we celebrated Easter! Usually we go to grandma and grandpa's house, so being alone this holiday was a little different. However the kids had a good Easter with presents from the Easter bunny and egg hunts and crafts and egg dying. It was actually fun to stay home all day and relax with the kids for the holiday season. Happy spring everyone!!

Trains, trains, and more trains

So this past weekend we went to a Cherry Blossom Festival in a nearby town. I went armed with my camera to take beautiful shots of the kids in front of the blossoming trees, however I think we were a week early. They weren't quite in full bloom yet. Oh well. The highlight for my kids however was one of the vendors displaying their train set. It was HUGE and Cody could have stayed there all day watching the trains driving through there town. It made me think of Grandpa Williams and his old hobby with his trains. Perhaps with his retirement he could pick it back up (hint, hint :)) Midway is a good place for a train.

I also thought I would sneak this picture in of Cody. I tell ya it's tough to be a three year old!!!
